More about this artwork

The artwork displays an abstract concoction of scattered white spots that resemble a flurry of snow or a cluster of stars against a dim, textured background blending shades of brown, grey, and hints of yellow. The white spots vary in size, with some larger, more pronounced circles dominating the scene, while numerous smaller specks create a sense of depth and density. The irregular distribution of these luminous dots invites viewers to contemplate a possibly chaotic, yet mesmerizing celestial or wintry scene. The painting evokes a sense of motion and randomness, suggesting that each light source, whether representing snowflakes caught in a gust or stars scattered across the cosmos, is captured in a single, transient moment. The overall effect is both dynamic and serene, engaging the viewer in a visual exploration of light and texture.

Artist

Dalius Virbickas is an artist whose passion for drawing was apparent from a young age. His artistic path began with drawing, as his childhood comics received acknowledgment and were even published in a newspaper. This early achievement culminated in his first award at the age of twelve, which further ignited his creative drive.

As Dalius’s abilities grew, he moved on to painting, immersing himself in a world of color and experimenting with various techniques and media. He is deeply grateful to his artist parents, whom he credits with sharing essential artistic insights with him. While experimentation is central to his creative approach, he mainly uses acrylics in his work. For Dalius, art serves as a crucial outlet for self-expression, allowing him to convey his ideas and aspirations through every creation.

His paintings have reached audiences worldwide, with his works now in collections in several countries. Dalius feels privileged to pursue his artistic passion, always striving to develop further and refine his craft. Living in Lithuania, he finds inspiration in his country’s rich culture and stays actively involved in the wider art scene to keep up with current trends.

Beyond his art, Dalius is also a professional historian, a field that gives him a distinctive outlook and informs his creative goals. He aims to produce joyful artworks that elicit positive feelings in viewers, hoping his paintings provide comfort, happiness, and a reminder of true human values—like kindness and friendliness—in an ever-changing world.
