More about this artwork

The painting shows a bucolic apple orchard captured with a loosely impressionistic style. Sunlight dapples through the foliage, casting patches of light and shadow across the scene. A focal apple tree, with its trunk slightly leaning, bursts with clusters of yellow apples. Some apples cling to branches while others have fallen into a scattered array on the lush green ground below, which is painted in broad, textured strokes of green and yellow. The background appears soft and almost dreamlike, imbued with varying shades of green that suggest depth and the density of surrounding trees. The overall effect is both tranquil and vibrant, evoking the serenity and abundance of late summer or early autumn.

Artist

Alina Racienė, known artistically as Azura Oil, is an artist hailing from Lithuania. She was raised in a small town, enveloped by her family's affection and the serenity of nature. From a young age, Alina was drawn to painting, spending endless hours absorbed with her brush. Though she once aspired to be both a ballerina and a painter, her early adulthood was devoted to a career in dance before she turned her focus to raising her six children.

To Alina, art represents an act of love, a gift from the Creator, and a natural extension of existence. She describes her creative process as a harmonious merging of internal and external experiences, with everything around her serving as inspiration. In her eyes, art is not limited to the canvas but emerges in every act of love, uniting grace, life, and creativity in a seamless current.

Alina holds the achievements of famous artists in high regard and at times draws inspiration from replicating their masterpieces. She has created a number of paintings inspired by these prominent figures and is also passionate about writing poetry. She eloquently likens her artistic path to a river flowing from a living source, bridging eternity with the present and revealing her belief in art as an unbroken continuum.

As Azura Oil, Alina focuses mainly on painting enigmatic landscapes that appear to materialize from a dreamy mist. Her artworks are frequently bathed in moonlight or touched by the sun’s final rays, conjuring ethereal scenes that feel as though they belong to a different world. When human figures are included, they remain vague and introspective, imbuing the pieces with a feeling of gentle longing and melancholy. The delicate hues and softened outlines lend her paintings a contemplative, soothing atmosphere, making them particularly suited for settings that value tranquility and introspection.
