Upon entering Ramūnas Naumavičius' workshop, visitors are immediately introduced to his artistic sensibilities by an Eastern-inspired door, which sets the mood for what awaits inside. This thoughtfully crafted entryway serves as more than mere ornamentation; it embodies the artist’s belief that beauty and happiness should touch his life and the lives of others alike. Ramūnas firmly subscribes to the idea that positivity has the power to transform, and his infectious enthusiasm leaves a lasting impression on everyone he encounters. The foundational ideals guiding both his personal and professional life—goodness, truth, and patience—are, for him, expressions of the essential laws that govern the universe.
In conversations about his artwork, Ramūnas Naumavičius underscores his desire to promote goodness, elevate the human spirit, and foster positivity through each piece he creates. He approaches his craft philosophically, viewing art as a vehicle for encouraging virtue, changing negativity into positive energy, and symbolically converting “black to white.” Ramūnas sees genuine artistry as residing in its ethical influence: art, in his view, should uplift people and spark hope. This intention is dedicatedly woven into his works and the experiences he designs for those who engage with them.
Ramūnas’ art stands out particularly for its original interpretation of angelic themes. Rather than depicting traditional angels, his paintings portray winged figures that serve as emblems of moral individuals—everyday people who offer kindness selflessly. In his latest creations, Ramūnas explores “light” as a universal manifestation of goodness. These works often reveal enigmatic, mist-filled landscapes where outlines of nature slowly surface, brought to life by luminous rays breaking through the fog—a visual metaphor for hope and enlightenment.
Eastern philosophy profoundly influences both the genesis and substance of Ramūnas Naumavičius' artworks. Each painting is conceived in a state of calm, often during moments of meditation and deep tranquility. This deliberate, conscious process not only fills his creations with an aura of serenity but also strengthens his resolve to instill every piece with mindful meaning and a sense of positive energy.
