Artist

"A painting is a dialogue between the artist and the viewer, or a mirror - it reflects the viewer, his or her feelings and moods. If the work didn't make you stop, remember what you felt, what you knew, what was important, but you forgot - go on... You will still go - but maybe a little differently, in a different way..." - "I don't want to call my canvases paintings. They are acrylic drawings. I am interested in the line of the human face, the silhouette of the body. I want to convey different moods and states of mind in a spare colour language. In recent years, I have allowed myself to fall in love with the shiny textures of gold and silver - a little nostalgic, sweetly sentimental. After all, sentiments are our memories of bright episodes of the past."

The artist has held 13 solo exhibitions in Palanga, Klaipėda, Vilnius, Latvia and Germany.
