Artist

K. Česonytė's paintings - it is variations of expressionist painting: thrilling stroke, energetic brush strokes, expressive paint textures, with which she is often like "molding" shapes, objects, elements of landscape. According to genre, her creative range is quite traditional. Dominate landscapes, artist has painted a series of still-lifes, many urban images, one another generalized portrait. However, other aspects of K. Česonytė paintings brings her closer not so much with classical modernist art, as far as with modern mediated images of life. "My tools - computer and virtual space", she says. Painting images to the artist's paintings comes not from reality, but from virtual, or secondary reality. However, for creative artist it is just springboard or start signal, which release imagination and hand. Usually in her works intertwine secondary reality or casual motive and creators imagination - art critic Kristina Stančienė.
