More about this artwork

In the painting, an array of thickly painted flowers bursts with color atop a muted, soft golden background. The flowers, depicted in a robust, impasto style, showcase varied hues including white, yellow, blue, pink, and red, giving an impression of vibrant, lively blossoms. Each flower is rendered with broad, expressive brushstrokes that suggest movement and texture, rather than detailed botanical accuracy. Below the bouquet, a vase with streaks of green, pink, and white adds contrast to the intense colors of the flowers. The vase sits firmly at the lower center of the canvas, slightly tilted, grounding the composition in its simple yet dynamic form.
