More about this artwork

This painting by Nadia Cotorobai, titled "IJA," features bold, vibrant colors and abstract forms. The upper part shows bright crimson and pink shapes that could remind one of flowers. Below, there's a striped object resembling a vase. It's painted in shades of yellow, blue, and white.Cotorobai used thick, textured layers of paint. The brushstrokes are visible, adding depth to the artwork. This style feels lively and expressive. Emotions are visible through the use of contrasting dark and light areas, and the overall composition is quite striking. Nadia's choice of abstract form and vivid palette creates a playful, yet mysterious atmosphere that draws the viewer in to interpret their own meanings from the abstract shapes.

Artist

Nadia Cotorobai is an artist whose creative path began in her childhood, when she attended a studio for children’s animation. It was there that she first uncovered her calling to create. These formative experiences provided a strong basis for her artistic growth—for Nadia, the pursuit of new ways to express thoughts, emotions, and her worldview through creativity has been ongoing ever since.

Her artistic expression stands out for its vivid colors, dynamic forms, and rich textures. Nadia views every work as an opportunity to share positivity, inspiration, and a sense of inner warmth with the viewer. Painting serves as both a means for personal expression and a way to foster a connection with the world—a delicate yet compelling conversation in visual form.

Nadia Cotorobai finds inspiration in emotions, ordinary moments, and the atmosphere of her surroundings. Each of her paintings embodies her distinct style—a blend of intuition, harmonious color, and imaginative freedom. She is always developing her technique, experimenting with forms, and seeking for her works to become not simply decorative objects, but emotional revelations for those who view them.

As she looks ahead, Nadia aspires to continue advancing her artistic journey, take part in exhibitions, and reach a broader audience. Ultimately, her goal is for her art to bring joy, spark inspiration, and forge meaningful bonds with everyone who stops to take it in, even if only for a moment.
