The author for images uses one of the methods of "cameraless photography", i.e. chemigrams. Just as a brush is not necessary to paint a painting, the camera is not used for these images. But it is used a light, light-sensitive surface, chemicals, and various localizing products e.g. dishwashing liquid, oil, etc. By experimenting with these tools and observing the ongoing chemical reactions are compared parallel to the chemical processes in the human brain. Which, in constant execution, determine our unique states, from completely calm to stormy. Or at least for short period of time takes you to an imaginary world with the characters in it, which is free of digital technologies. As technologies takes over the world, would like to keep in mind that there are still opportunities to experiment with non-digitized tools.

The author is currently continuing her creative activities in Vilnius and improving her knowledge in the field of photography at Vilnius College of Design, Applied Photography.
