Painting in the room
I would describe myself as someone who lives with watercolour, immersed within it. I am captivated by its delicacy, its unpredictability, and the special way it responds to water. My inspiration often comes from nature, so flawlessly crafted by God. At the same time, the vibrant energy of city life also draws me in—the noise, the activity, the shifting shadows on buildings in the sunlight, or the reflections shimmering on wet streets after rain. Colour holds particular significance for me; the palette I select shapes the evolution, spirit, and mood of each piece. Through my art, I invite you to imagine, to escape to a place of tranquility and goodness… Enigmatic, yet safe… Wishing you a pleasant journey!

About this artwork+
In the painting "Flora II" by Raimonda Rauluševičienė, we see a dynamic and vibrant depiction of flowers arranged in a vase. The composition is dominated by a burst of fiery orange and red tones, evoking the energetic bloom of flowers. These vivid colors stand out against a moody, blue and indigo background that seems to swirl with a mixture of shadows and light, suggesting a fluid, water-like element. Speckles and splatters of paint add a sense of spontaneity and movement to the piece, creating an abstract interpretation of floral beauty. The flowers, abstract in their form, blur the lines between representation and impression, their petals and leaves merging with the atmospheric background. The vase, vaguely outlined in paler blues and greens, anchors the bouquet in a subtle play of colors and shapes, intertwining it with the surrounding space.
