Artist

I am a clothing designer. My fields of interest include fashion, art, style, photography and science. My hobbies are linked to artistic work. Painting is a huge part of my life as I've grown up painting. I feel grateful to my professor Gvidas Latakas for helping me develop my skills as a painter. He gave me a unique opportunity to experience and see art as a way to relax and unwind. I'll never forget his classes where while painting, Greek Myths had been read, which helped his students to develop their creativity and use it to its full potential. My art is not based on one style yet because I still don't want to settle, but I enjoy experiments with different techniques and styles. I feel like getting closer to one style I feel most comfortable with, but that will happen gradually. The majority of my paintings are made spontaneously. Caught in emotion, I can't stop until I finish my work. I am not afraid of thick brushstrokes, dripping paint, spreading soil on canvas using a spatula. I also like soft brush strokes. I organised my exhibitions at the telecommunication company "Telia", Kaunas Technology University, Kaunas College. Part of my artwork is abroad (Iceland, USA, UK). I feel inspired by ES Devlin, Jackson Pollock, Helmut Newton, Sevda Alizadeh(Sevdaliza), Nick Murphy (Chet Faker), Demna Gvasalia, Virgil Abloh.
