Artist

Jonas Grunda is a member of the Lithuanian Artists' Union.

The artist uses a variety of media to create form and paint a picture.

"I would say it is not so important what means I use to achieve my goal, but what matters is how my work affects the viewer. As William Blake said "The female body is one of God's most beautiful creations". Too much eternity for the male eye. It nourishes and gives life..."

John Grunda's work is based on the joy of life, which the author tries to to see everywhere he turns. In his paintings, the artist maintains a sketchy lightness, transparency of colours. His line is free and flowing, and his brushstrokes are hasty but precise. Rather than concentrating on details, the artist puts together the whole and rushes to capture the mood.
