More about this artwork

The painting presents an abstract monochrome seascape in various shades of gray, centered around an island depicted in a somewhat impressionistic style. The island itself is dark and textured, suggesting rugged terrain, possibly cliffs, as hints of motion suggest the presence of waves or water around it. Above the island, the sky is portrayed with light, fluid brushstrokes, enhancing the airy feel of the scene. Adding to the dynamism are two birds in flight, captured with minimalist yet expressive lines, seeming to glide effortlessly across the sky. The water surrounding the island is rendered with horizontal strokes that soften towards the edges of the canvas, creating a dreamlike amalgamation of sea and sky.
