oil on canvas
Width: 40 cm
Danutė was born in Biržai, Lithuania.
She has been painting ever since her childhood. Her unique paintings are made using a palette knife – without a brush (that you might consider to be the essential artist’s tool). This difficult technique takes years to learn.
Her paintings are ones of warmness, peace and light paying attention to the beauty of nature and innerness. They perfectly refresh the interior and bring a touch of meditative nature into it.
Danutė’s canvases are spread all over the world. Lots of her paintings are in USA, Canada, Europe as well as Japan, New Zealand and other countries.
In our website you can also find paintings created by her husband Rimantas Virbickas.
