Raimonda Jatkevičiūtė Kasparavičienė's paintings have a Magritte-like surreal calm. The compositions are minimalist, well thought out and not overloaded, the colour palette is also moderate, and the artist introduces new colours very carefully. The trees she paints do not move, the surface of the water is not disturbed by any winds, it floats like glass into infinity. But unlike the Surrealists, this calm is not charged with tension. It is a calm that comes from reconciliation, an acceptance of one's own fate with a drop of gentle melancholy.

The artist says that she paints her paintings from photographs she has taken herself, but these photographs have an expiry date - if the mood and feeling that accompanied the image is already lost, has dissipated, then it will not become a painting either. Capturing empty, superficial beauty would seem meaningless to the author.
