"Watercolor painting plays a big part in my life.  And just like in life, one cannot fully foresee or plan every moment. There’s a lot of mystery and surprise in every stroke and every drop of the paint, you never know what awaits you.

This painting technique is quite hard and capricious. To unravel its full potential and all subtlety, one has to have a lot of skill, be consistent, and put in a lot of patience. That is exactly what fascinates me about watercolor painting. The ability to be able to express emotions using water and melting colors bewitches me a lot. Watercolor has captured me since the first brush and never really let go...

I graduated from Vilnius Art Academy in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in interior design and architecture. Since graduating I have spent most of the time working in mixed watercolor and pastel techniques. After some time, I took up a career in architecture and have spent many years in this sphere. But I have always missed watercolor painting and the freedom that every paintbrush provides. So I decided to grab the brush once again.

Once again I am organizing exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad. In the last several years I had an opportunity to participate in international art exhibitions in Peru, Vietnam, Finland, and Japan."
