I was born in 1943 in Kaunas. I have been participating in exhibitions since 1978. Member of the Lithuanian Artists' Union (LDS), the Artists' Club "Meno sparnai", the Watercolour Club "Aqua -12" and the Chairman of the Artists' Club "Sfinksas" (since 1994). I have held over 100 solo exhibitions in Lithuania, Norway, Sweden, Canada, the United States (7 exhibitions) and France. I have participated in more than 80 group exhibitions in Lithuania, USA, Belarus, Russia, Finland. I have been a coordinator and organizer of over 30 group exhibitions.
In my creative path I try to understand the mystery of the world around me and to create a vision of associations of personal experience. I trust the viewers' personal variations in their perception of the work, which I think can change with each person in the constant flow of moods. If the sense of the mystery of the work persists, then it is possible to engage in the search for it again and again, providing a variety of personal creative sensations. In this way, I try to share the joy of creation, a kind of catharsis, with the viewer who wants to feel the author's creative improvisations.
