About the author
"The cycles of repetition of forms painted by Kristijonas Miliūnas reveal as many variations of the depicted object as the reflections opened by an object placed between two triple mirrors. However, in this case, the image is not monotonous: the forms are rearranged, rotated and regrouped. These structures - rectangles, squares and connections (as the artist himself calls these pictorial blocks) - migrate from one cycle to the next, becoming the artist's signature style. Subjectively, the artist visually retransmits those abstractly perceived "plots" that have already become a collective idée fixe in the general information field. The works do not offer optimistic flashes or playful polychromy but the viewer is drawn into a field of masterfully assembled fragments." - Aistė Mikštė.
